Default I'm back, it was time to repower

Some of you may remember my build thread from last year. Well, the boat did awesome all last year but the motor was real tired. I had or out for a few weeks this season and after a hard run across the lake I spun a bearing. Lucky for me I was already building a new motor. It started as an old motor from an rv and I reused block and crank but got new slugs and scat i beam rods. I got a set of 990's from my engine builder for an awesome deal. Im running a roller comp xtreme marine cam and an old torker 2 intake and quick fuel marine 750 carb. Fired her up this weekend and she sounds so sweet. The idle is very similar to a mercury 525. I wouldn't mind idling everywhere haha. Now to get her back in the water and start prop testing! I'm gonna start with a 4 blade 24 pitch and go from there.

The old motor was pretty and ran ok but oil pressure was a bit low.

Started the tear down last week.

On her way out.

New motor all buttoned up
