Lake Michigan was a little rough yesterday afternoon heading north to Holland.

We went to St Joe Sunday - just to scope out the put in places -- that lake was wicked-- there were 6-8 ft- NOBODY was going out

That's so crazy. We were in south haven all day sat and it was glass. That lake can change so fast you can't beleive it !!!

We ran to Chicago on Saturday on glass...put it on the trailer Saturday night because Sunday was predicted to be 3-5s with occasional 8s. Bravo drives no likey. I leave that fun up to you guys, Dave and Steve. Lol.

Note how they look like 2-3s in the video. The giveaway is all that spray.

ok i'm gonna ask a stupid question.is it normal for that much water to come off/over the bow?seems like you'd get soaked!i've never been in a boat like that or been on lake michigan in a boat.btw i'm an inland lake boater so i'm just curious.never been on a lake that size.

Yeah that pretty much sums up Lake Michigan boating on a choppy day, As many of us know it gets alot worse real quick, but heck thats why we love the Lake. Great vidio guys thanks for sharing it with us!!

thread hijack then i'm done.how do you think a 25' open bow boat would do on michigan.and i dont mean in those types of conditions,i know better than that.and yes that was a cool video.

Hickle, you can take any boat on Lake Michigan, you just need to be aware of what weather/waves might be coming. We had my wife's 21' Four Winns bow rider out all day Saturday, up near Whitehall and we could have got by with a mushroom anchor because it was so flat. The Pantera still comes in handy on wicked days!
