People always mention stuff about Pier57 in Illinois , so I wanted to take a chance to say thanks to Gus and the service department at the Tn. location . After spending the summer/fall of 2013 rebuilding my motor I couldnt finish putting the boat back together . I didnt want random boat mechanics that spend there days working on everyday production runabouts working on my AT soin February I drove it 250 miles to Pier57 on pickwick lake to do the job . Gus went through and cleaned up some of the sloppy wiring and mounting that I and the previous owner (not drock78) had done . He fixed everything I asked , everything he saw that needed to be fixed , and was up front and honest every step of the way . Picked it up in April and was finally back on the water . After a few runs the carb was acting funny , not wanting to warm up and dying a lot . Called them and they let me bring it right back and fixed it up as quick as they could . Gus is a brilliant mechanic and still answers ant questions I have . I STRONGLY recommend them to anyone needing work done in the area .
