Bought a 625 hp 540 to put in a 25zx. Right now boat runs 60-62 with a 454mag and either a 21p mirage plus or a 21p rev4. Where should I start with a prop?

What rpm does it make that power at? Just a guess but 24 or 26 bravo 1

I have about 500 horse power in mine and I'm using a 24 Bravo 1. I'm getting about 63 mph at 4800 rpms

Not sure, waiting on dyno sheet. Previous owner states 90s with a 27p in a 253 checkmate.

My 26zx gets 69 mph with a bravo 1 26p at 4900rpm....

if its a true 625 hp,,at a minimum a 28 bravo one prop but most likely end up with a 30..

625 hp 540 will not put a checkmate 253 into the 90's.
