Your FASTECH is heavier than that drag boat, you're gonna need a third generation Olds Toronado..... Good news is, they were available with a DIESEL!

I think some mods to this could do it.

And towing a big boat one of those older Olds Diesels might have lasted as much as 75-100 miles going easy

In college I actually had a '67 ranch wagon, factory 390 4 barrel, with period correct Dayton wires.
