I have a 1988 liberator i just unwinterized it and the water pump is not working, i took the hoses off the waterneck and there is no water flowing . i'm running it on the ear muffs . i took off the pump housing and water is getting up to the pump. the impeller is not missing any pieces could it still be bad . thanks for any help

I used to have a boat years ago wit twin cobra's, one I put in aftermarket pump kits and one would not pump...took back apart saw nothing...replaced with OEM worked great again, so the tolerance for the impellor/housing is critical...

Agree 100% about the tolerances of impellers and do not forget the housings as well especially if they a scared, that also can put your tolerances out of spec. Also with aftermarket impellers some will spin the hub done the road as the bonding agent can let go or deteriorate over time. Quality impellers are very important. and good sealing of the impeller housing as well.
