E85 fuel vs 93 octane

I know most boaters use pump gas which contains E10 or 10 % Ethanol and 90 gas. Few boater would not run any kind of Ethanol fuel. I know WaWa Store offer gas with out Ethanol for about $1.00 more per gallon. E85 which is 85% Ethanol and 15% gas is $1.00 cheaper per gallon than 93 octane. E85 has octane rating of 103 to 105 vs 93 octaine. Methanol has rating of 116 octane but has lot of side effects But when I was drag racing it was worth it. Horse power gain was huge. I did nothing but change fuel system et drop 1 second, 60ft went from 1.60 down to 1.30 rpm top end track went from 5500 to 6800 that my friend is a big horse power gain. I use 3 gallon of methanol per past to 1 gallon race fuel. Now Ethanol is another ball game. Summit racing 850 Methanol carb Jetting has .150 front and back , 850 Ethanol carb and gas has same power valve, same jets, same air bleeds the only difference is the metering plate. I am right not mixing 15 gallon of 93 octane gas to 5 gallons of E85 with good results, I do want to say it not for everyone and you can't let the boat set not being used also the set up need to be right but something to think about.

6.0 LSx motor, Eagle rods, Wiseco pistons, cam/push rods/valve springs, all else stock motor...including intake manifold, exhaust manifolds, throttle body.
91 Camaro, power windows, tilt wheel, console, factory rear springs, 275/60 drag radial. On 100% outta the pump E85, 24# of boost, no intercooler, spraying 2 nozzles worth of meth.

Are you talk about Methanol or Ethanol two different types of fuel each requires different calibration. I use methanol when I was drag racing with some great results. Lots of up keep using Methanol. Ethanol whole other beast. I don't know about throttle body with either of the two fuels I use carb that was reworked to use methanol. Now carb on E85 and Gas are close check Summit racing and compare between the two both have same power valve, jetting, and air bleed only difference is metering plates 850 cfm. Methanol carb are design to dump a lot of fuel .150 jets front and back along with bigger air bleed , no power valves, and more.
