I want to reach out to everyone that we have all lost a great friend - Danny Jackson.
Danny touched the hearts of many in the boating community including many in other states and even in the Far East with business colleges. He was always there when you needed help and would do anything to help. His loss has touched many as the people that have reached out to Patti has been overwhelming.
There will be a gathering to remember Danny at Captain's Quarters in Antioch, IL this Saturday 6/28/14 from 2-7pm. Please keep Patti in your thoughts, this is very difficult time for her.
I lost a GREAT friend!
Rick

Danny Jackson was a great friend and a good customer to ATECO. We are deeply saddened by the news of his passing. He was a big man in so many ways and always had a smile and friendly greeting for everyone. We will miss that Alabama accent and great laugh. Our deepest sympathy to Patti and to all who loved him. The boating world lost a true fan. It just won't be the same.... We will miss you, Danny. ATECO Enging & Dyno Shop.

I was so shocked and saddened to hear this. Danny was a terrific guy, always had a smile and a laugh, and was a true Southern gentleman. We had a blast with him last year over Labor Day in Milwaukee. Our thoughts are with Patti...
RIP Danny, we will all miss you.

Just heard this news. Only got to meet Danny a handful of times, but he was a true gentleman, just a genuine nice guy. I know how close you northern guys were as a group, and I'm sure Danny will be missed tremendously. Sorry for your loss, especially you Rick. I know you guys were very close.

I had a fun conversation with Danny aka "da coach" at the Loop of the Lakes regarding his gold powerboat charm on his gold chain. He told my table a funny story about his "Mr. T starter kit". I hadn't known him long, but can tell how genuine of a man he was within minutes....Sorry for your loss Patti. RIP Danny...
