okay so I love this new (to me) boat, but I'm already annoyed to death with this helm seat. great leaning post, crap seat. I feel like all I do is slide off and with no toe rail or foot rest my feet just dangle like I'm a little kid with no way to keep my butt from sliding off. and while I mostly stand when I drive my wife mostly sits, and she is starting to dislike my purchase. am I the only one who has this problem? is there some kind of adjustment that can be made? I see most 27's and 30's have this setup am I really the only one who has this issue? do you all just stand the entire time? did you add a foot rest or something to help hold you in your seat? and for whatever it's worth I have a small ass so it's not a problem if too many cheetohs
if I thought it wouldn't cost an arm and leg I'd upgrade to this and be done with it, okay I'll stop whining now

My 30 has a leaning post with a removable back rest. I almost always stand when operating the boat. I always have regardless of boat.... But I have jumped up on my seat and driven that way. My wife likes to sit on the seat as well. We were originally going to look into switching to a drop out (side by side) bolster set up. But we have grown to enjoy the leaning post. Plus we installed a cooler strap down kit under the leaning post so our cooler is always out of the way and securely strapped down. When we get to our destination, we remove the back rest and that allows use to sit on the leaning post facing back toward the transom. My seat looks quite a bit different than what you have pictured. See pic below (I have a better pic, but not sure where it's at right now)
