I just rebuilt a 93' genv 502 with the msts timing computer and for the life of me can't find where the port side knock sensor plugs into the wiring harness. I split the plastic sheath and looked for a wire that may have been cut off. The starboard side of the motor has the connector.

Will it run without both knock sensors hooked up? Going to install the motor into a fishing boat tomorrow and was tryin to get everything ready to fire up before the motor gets harder to reach.

Worst case scenario I'll just pull the brain box and wire up a MSD distributor and coil.

Anybody know if it will run with only one knock sensor ?
