1999 ol25 gauge replacement

Ok.. so the gaffrig gauges are looking a little tired. I have all new livorsi gauges and a wheel that im gunna install tomorrow. Seems like the gaffrigs have eyelets and the livorsi has just a bare end. Was gunna soilder .....?. Any tips before I dive in.?thx lee

When you say a "bare end" are you talking about these things coming out the back of the gauge?

If so, NAPA and other automotive stores carry solderless and soldered quick connectors like these. This is how my gauges are hooked up.

yes that's what im gunna try, my next question is that most of the stock gauges had mulitiple of say black or purple or what ever colour, the livorsi gauges only have this 4 wire pigtail typ thing, im assuming I have to make a splice before I get to the pig tail.. the stock wiring looks totally nuts anyway. Im thinking of just redoing most of it. thoughts??
