Hi fellows, I got this boat new, on m.s.o .
I can you the help of other 04',05',06' owners of 25 outlaw.
Please post a picture of your vin on the transom .
They complain my bin isn't clean stamped in the transom and that there is a small kind of frame around it. They suspect it was swapped ! Boat was new !
I would appreciate anything to show them they are all made this way and that there is nothing wrong with mine..

What a load of crap. Almost every boat I have seen has a VIN just as you described. Those cops need some serious education. Good luck and I am sure you will get your boat back. Get a lawyer.

That's how mine is, small rectangle with the numbers cast in the gel.
There should be a secondary location on your boat with a 'hidden' HIN. It will be on a piece of paper, under that last layer of fiberglass somewhere. I had mine completely torn apart for almost two years and never found it, finally came across it the other day when I was in there working on something.
As a hint, I would suggest looking up in the gunnels for it.

You can also call SeaRay customer service and they can verify your boat. It will be a piece of paper that lists the HIN and original options for the boat. It might be helpful...Ill send you a PM with details.

well, yes i agree, the fountain's are the worst. it seems like the HIN are done by hand !
the baja outlaw has a frame then the #'s inside the frame. he argued they were supposed to be all smooth !no frame. what does he know !
in any case, i will send all m.s.o documents and paperwork over to that dept and wait !
if i could supply other HIN pictures of the same style baja, that would probably make them see this is the way the HIN are on all bajas.
can anyone post a picture ?
