Default Need some Opinions, I added Imco SC lowers and boat won't plane

I have Twin Step 42 Tiger that has Imco SCX uppers that had XR lowers. I recently added Imco SC lowers. I have 1" spacers in with standard length lowers. I had the same set up with the XR's. I am also running a 32p 4 blade Bravo one prop. The boat got on plane fairly easy before the change, now it starts to bite and then it just blows out. I can get it on plane by using the tabs, but it takes a bit still. My question why is this happening? I switched the lowers because my slip #'s were high before and the thought was that the XR lower was causing the problem. The boat pulls like a freight train in the mid range. Just a point of reference I have offshore pick ups on the boat as well but they were on before the change. Any thoughts?

You may need upper cav plate extensions that imco sells...worked for me. Mine would just blow out and I have no tabs to help.
