Ron I went from a Konrad to a XR and had to go through all the set up again . I have a -2 Sportmaster and my slip is through the roof at 30% and ran 85 mph . I then put a 1" spacer and I'm back to 95mph with 22% slip . I gain 4 more mph with my P5 but I'm scared to run it on the XR . When I had the Konrad it only had 11% so I'm hopping to get close to that again if I could ever find a 2" spacer at a deal .
Most everyone is turning lefts on the Y2k's after they try it for the first time .

Morning. Ok so your saying go w the stock Xr lower. What power are u running in your boat? An what year boat u have. Mine is 2008. I thought if I ran a 5 or 6 blade it would drop slip down w the shorty. Guess not lol. You ran 95 w the 5 blade w the space in drive? If so I see boat def hates the shorty then.

No I run 95 with a 32 LH Bravo 1 . The P5 is faster with less slip but I'm really trying to not bust another drive mid season . My hull is an 07 the same as yours only yours is faster as it is one of the few that was blue printed by Rick . My motor was built by Dave at MDG when he rigged the boat and originally made 800hp on the dyno but with 210 hours on it I would think its only pulling around 725 now . But yes a stock lower is going to be your best option . If I can get a deal on a -0 sportmaster or Imco thats what i'm going to put on mine in till I can pick up a SCX
