Default Surlast fabric for boat cover

Getting a custom made mooring cover for my 36 Pantera .They're suggesting I use Surlast over Sunbrella fabric,They're a very reputable upholstery shop around here(Futureline Exton Pa.)so I don't doubt his advise,I'm just not familiar with the brand. He's saying it is a lighter fabric which is important when covering a boat of this size with the sides being covered also.Very abrasion resistant for a boat with full graphics and has the same characteristics of the well known Sunbrella brand.Covers of this size are not cheap so I'm just wondering has anyone had experience with this brand and what they think.

I bought my cover from National covers. It's great quality and fits like a glove.

That is some great prices but I'm looking for full coverage for the sides.

I called National covers and gave them the exact dimensions of my boat. My cover comes down past my water line of my boat and that makes me a happy camper, cuz this boat was hammered when I bought it....now it's all shiny and I want to keep it that way.

it is much lighter than Sunbrella but I am not impressed with the durability after a 2 years outside I wouldn't use it again.

Which material did you get? How has it stood up to wear and water repellancy.

I have the second best cover made by Windstorm cover. I really like it, but I do get a few drips on my engine cover. I'm amidst trying to remedy that with the company.

Wow, congrats on your 36. Which one did you buy? Post some pics in the Pantera forum. Jaime

Use the Sunbrella. My Surlast has faded.
