I am trying to locate a billet aluminum crankshaft pulley (6 rib) aftermarket for a serpentine system on my 502 mag MPI setup. Have all other pulleys in billet, however this one that CP carries states "for HP500 spacing". Thought the HP 500 was v belt. Probably referring to the 500efi.
Are the pulleys between the 500 EFI and MPI serpentine motors different dimensionally? Any help is much appreciated.

They look completely different as the 502 black motor looks to have more depth and has a lot narrow back half compared to the 500EFI. CP pic looks like the 500 EFI pulley. Also they carry 2 different part numbers but I understand merc thinking here one is blue in color and one is black in color so lets change the part #'s yes this may hold true but they do not look the same plus the back half is not the same in width.
Also there is huge price difference but again Merc thinking race blue motor compared to black production motor. We can ask for more money and its a lot more. Here is the pricing the 500 EFI Blue pulley is 340.65 and the Black 502 pulley is 60.45. Anyways not the same looking pulley nor the back half plus the 502 looks to have more depth. Hope this helps.
