Default Painting My Windshield

I want to paint the windshield on my 357 Formula. My plan is to put graphics on the windshield so I want it black to start with.

Has anyone ever done this? What kind of prep would be required?

Would I be better off having the glass tinted on the inside of the windshield? Will window tint stand up to the weather and elements?

Put black vinyl on it first and then a second overlay with the colors/graphics.

The glass is rounded as it wraps around the sides so I'm sure it will be a booger. Should I get someone who does wraps to do this? Photo below.

Using the correct vinyl for the job and It would go over fine I think. Any place that does wraps could do it.

The windshield on the 253 has tint on it and its held up fine. It was on there when we got it about 3 years ago and so far so good.

Hope you don't need to look out of it afterwards, lol.

I almost always stand/lean while driving. When I sit, the top of the windshield is right at eye level which I find to be annoying. I don't really need to see through it. Now if I put a phonebook on top of the seat, it could make the difference.
