Default Need help .. No water from drive to raw water pump

Starboard motor on triple 525 SC 's .. Submerged drives in water to start engines this year , and noticed no water coming out of exhaust . Pulled impeller , .. Looked brand new like last year , ? .. Pulled hose-off raw water pump, and no water coming out of the pick up hose . Ran water through the pick up hose , and it ran out the drive ? Any other ideas to check ?? Thanks !??

hose could be collapsing internally, section from bell housing to transom assy, will flow under pressure collapse on suction

You may have a air leak. Do you have a sea strainer? Check cap and clamps on connections

I had a similar problem - was pulling in air where the suction hose attaches to the transom assembly. I double clamped it and took care of the problem. Also check that plastic fitting - they can split from heat and age. Also, there is a 5/8" hose in the transome assembly to the bell housing that can become crimped.
