Default Corsa 40 Ft 1980 questions

Buying a trailer but it comes with a 40 Ft Corsa 12 meter. Year is 1980, was redone sometime in 90s with supercharged 454s (gone). Boat appears in decent shape other than rear seat and engine hatch need new upholstery. TRS transoms and B/W transmissions still intact and comes with couple core 454s and one TRS drive. K-planes look to be 380s. Buying for trailer for a different boat but may fix this one. Hull was x-rayed before coming from California to British Columbia 5 yrs ago and was kept in a warehouse till recently. Hull is supposed to be solid.
Cuddy area is complete and was redone but they upholstered over the original teak headliner and floor. May refinish the teak to go back to old school look. Am I wasting my time and money or is this a worthwhile project. Boat is basically free. Hull is clean but needs upper transom repainted (name stripped off down to glass).
I have one good 496 HO and might find another one to drop in. Not looking to go super fast but 60 would be a good speed to aim for. Any info on these boats would be appreciated.

Those look to be 450 k planes. How wide is that boat?

I think they were 9 ft. Sandy Satullo won the championship in one.

I think Sandy Satullo's boat was a wood "Gara" which later became a plug (mold) for the 40' Corsa.

Definitely the boat. Too bad the 502s still aren't with it. Does your buddy want to part with the cover? Is it in good shape? How long ago did he own it? How fast did it go?
