Will, you'll love the boating down there. I lived on the Cape for about 8 years, a couple blocks off the river. Check out the Channel Mark Resturant in Ft Myers Beach, they have Thunder Sundays for the offshore crowd. Also have a Shooters in Ft Myers on the river. Do I sound like I miss it?????
A recent change in my job gave me responsibility for our Ft Myers operation again so I get down there about every 6 wks. I'd love top get together with some OSO'ers during one of my visits.
I may try to talk company into letting me relocate back there.

Great place, a lot of fun. Do you have any idea where your going to keep the boat when it gets down there? There is a great bar on the beech Doc's Beech House make sure you get grouper fingers and a cold one.

The marina that I suggest is Fish Tale Marina it is a beautiful full service marina with rack storage. It is amazing the difference in the marinas down south to the ones up North. They don't have the weather to beat them up so they stay beautiful.
