Question Bravo w dual water pickups.... Lower holes hurt MPH?

When I bought my boat it had an old standard Bravo 1 drive on it. I replaced it with a Newer Bravo with the dual water pickups (side and at nose cone). I have read that the nose cone pickups can slow down top MPH..... Can these be plugged?

Im running mid 70's in a 240 Sport right now....

Thanks guys!!!

You can plug the holes in the front without issue, but not sure it will give you any added speed.

Not worth the trouble for maybe a 1/2 mph.
