These are the boats that I am considering. Looking from 5-10 years old. Probably with 496 HOs, although would love to have a blue motor but don't want to deal with the maintenance on motors and drives. Any comments on the above boats would be appreciated. Not too many Fountains around. The only boat that I have had the chance to ride in is the 37ss. Thank you.

Several friends have owned both including myself.... 400SS without a doubt. Great boat

ive had my 370 with 500efi's since 2004. love the boat, got 500 hrs now. runs 58 all day full people and fuel. best top speed 62.6.

I am on borrowed time at 500 hrs with never being into the motors. mostly run 3200rpm at 36mph.

highly recommend the formula 370ss

Is there a big difference between the way the 37 and 40 handle? I've heard that the 40 has the extra room in the cabin. I did notice there is a little weight difference. My slip is 16x40 so either will work. There doesn't seem to be much difference in price as the boats age.
