Default Best place to buy Resin.

Where's the best place to get resin for stringers and transom project? I can buy everythng else through work, but resin.

i have a really nice vinylester in stock for a huge job i have, bought a couple drums and would like to sell off excess before it turns. i also have some excess poly if that works

US Composites is where I got all my supplies. Dave can you ship 5 maybe 10 gals to NY?

cant ship, sorry. I'm not actually a retailer but I buy at manufacturer levels for my shop and like to sell off excess to members on here that are semi-local. helps keep my shop supply fresh, vinylester can turn quickly so I like to pass on the savings if I can and not risk loosing product.

how fast does vinylester turn? i have some sitting in my garage since spring for a project i've been putting off. Maybe i need to get moving?!

I dont like to go more then a couple months, maybe three. you should still be fine if its sealed and kept cool.

Most vynilester has a warranty for 90 days but will go much longer as long as it's stored out of the sun light. If the lid is. Kept tight and out of the direct sun it goes 6 months easy, even longer in most cases
