Drive has been painted with black imron paint and looks good.
Has not been apart ever.
Never any metal chunks on magnets.

They worked great on my SCARAB an one of the uppers is still running on my Daytona until I get all of the Tinkering done.
They have never been apart so I can't tell you what they look like internally.
I just don't need two spares and the other one has been hacked up a bit with the Tinkering.

Yes - I hope you didn't look to close. It is a little dirty right now and I am waiting on hardware to properly install the new engine cover. I have to make a new cushion for the top of the back seat that is attached to the engine cover.
AND the upper half of the outdrive is one of the ones off of the SCARAB - I have been doing a lot of cutting and mods to see what works and what doesn't. I need to water test the latest mod and if it works like I think it will I will do those same mods on the fresh completely rebuilt X drive upper and install the new -3 IMCO lower that is on the boat now. So ignore the gobs of silicone caulking that is plugging up air leaks.
