Ya know I never knew you could get them on a 272 and it looks period correct with the single ram steering and no "teardrop" transom mount very cool!

Kaama did offer that package..350/300hp w/mg502 transmission and kaama surface drives.

I stand corrected.

I just bought this boat. The seller was the son. Says the family bought the boat in 1985 when it was a year old. The purchased it in Florida and took it to Wisconsin. Sounds like it was taken care of and was more of a family runner than a race boat. Son didn't remember when trans was replaced so it must have been pretty early in the boats life. I notice the Valve covers are the KAAMA covers so it must have been the complete package. Looks to be all original but we will see when I pick it up later in the week.

Ok guys, I bought this boat for the drives to put on a project of mine but the more looking and searching I do the more I think this boat may be a rare build. Whats your thoughts? Anyone know of anyone that would be interested in the boat running? Im gonna part the boat out and keep the drives if no one is interested. Figured I better ask here before I start taking apart a boat someone would like to have.
