Default Bolts for oil filter bracket on riser

Bought what were supposed to be the correct Quicksilver bolts to mount the oil filter bracket on the riser, measure about 6 3/4".Just not enough to grab decent to torque. Anyone have a part number for some that are 7-7 1/4" long or a couple spares laying around? I know I can just get bolts from the hardware store, but really wanted the correct bolts.

You know that you are just holding a oil filter bracket on right?? A 7" boat is a 7" bolt in this situation. I don't even thing the Merc's are stainless.

Yes, but dropping the whole boat off of a 3-5 foot swell, and something that important comes loose is real bad.

Do you have an Industrial Park nearby? I've got a few Commercial Hardware businesses within 30 minutes and can usually source just about anything in no more than 2 days time.
Worst case: you could use all-thread and stainless nuts.

McMaster-Carr will have what you need and they will have it in both 18-8 and 316 stainless. Look them up online, order it, it will ship same day if ordered before 5 pm. Don't get hung up on factory parts.... Manufacturers tend to steer towards doing things as cheap as possible.

The NAPA by me carries grade 8 bolts up to 8". Stainless up to 6" last I looked.
