I need a new fuel tank level sender for a formula 242 88 . Anybody know which model to buy or any advice if the ones on eBay will work ??

You need to get the sender based on the gauge you have.

call bill @diamondperformanceparts.I replaced both of mine in my 10meter..i replaced the old ones with a livori units.from what I understand.the electronic part of the livori unit learns the ohms reading of your gage and corrects it to match.the senders are a lot more accrate and they read the level in the tank a lot better.no more bonching needles.you need to know how deep your tank is.

About the outdrive make an offer the upper is seized and is in what I would call rough shape , my zip code is 01075 bout 40 min from Worcester if you would like I could resend some pics currently split in 2 pieces needed to rob some nuts that hold the upper and lower together
