What are the riser nuts supposed to be torqued to on a 2003 496 mag ho w/ stock aluminum manifolds and risers?

12 ft lbs or 16 Nm.

more info

Exhaust Manifold to cylinder head 26 ft lbs

Exhaust elbow studs to exhaust manifold 15 ft lbs.

Next it always wise to torque in a 3 pass & proper torque pattern with everything.

In your other thread can you post pics of your problem area and what you done to hopefully fix your problem. I am just asking so I can be on the same page as to what you posted.

Thank you. The only thing I removed were the riser nuts and riser. I figured it was less than 20, I was guessing 15. My boat is at the lake on the lift. I can take some pics this weekend. I haven't done any thing yet. I ordered the riser gaskets and silicone hoses. Hopefully they will be in by Friday so I can get back on the water Saturday.

No, the bell on the end of the riser at the top. My Y pipes and risers do not line up. The Y pipes angle down from the risers.
