We are a dealer for Mermaid and can get you a price on one of those in you're interested.

Dad has 2 on his Gibson houseboat and they are nice, the soft start compressor is awesome where when it kicks on it doesnt sound like the unit is trying to jump out of the boat.

540-786-8111 is the shop #. We will be gone here for a while out doing some sign work but you can leave a message and we'll call you back and talk about it.

a 6-7, 000 btu unit should cool that off no problem. I have a 9, 000btu on a 38' and I hang meat down there.

I have a Baja 33 Outlaw and just had to replace my a/c unit. I got a Dometic Envirocomfort 6000 btu unit for the replacement. I already had one installed, so it was a pretty simple installation. Just had to move a few hoses and ducts around. I ended up buying mine from West Marine of all places. They had it in stock and they are offering 20% off right now. I think I ended up getting it for around $1,200.00 shipped to the house.

It's a reverse cycle heat and cool. Works fantastic.

We stayed on the boat this weekend in Charleston, SC and it was 96 degrees with 90% humidity and it will still freeze your butt off.
