I currently have a pair of 525sc's. I've asked you all about them before. I've rebuilt one and if I keep the boat will have to go through the other one. What would a pair of Whipple 3.3 supercharges w/ intercoolers do for me? 2000 38 Lightning, small step currently running 76-78 with the 525sc's.

You are fairly indecisive. Boost is boost for the most part, chilled boost is even better. Whipple make a great product that in most cases will keep you from cutting your hatches chilled. The larger the blower the less heat, which is more power but safer power. And one of the best things about buying whipples is you get access to Dustin and his incredible database of proper carb and efi set ups!
I still say a semi stag 525efi 38 is the boat for, 10 mph more than what you are running now stock N/A, and will easily run 100 mph with boost. It will come with XR drives, big steps, bigger k planes, HP transom assemblies......things that will cost you tons of money to do to your 2000
