Default Prop in direction on twins

I've been thinking about messing with prop turning direction on my 03' 33 outlaw.. has HO's.. Which direction is in?? I thought turning down in to the center was in (port clockwise, strbrd counter clockwise) in forward.. If so, I'm already turning in.. been reading up on past threads and curious.. running 73mph around 4700rpm

Leave them turning in. Lifts stern. Gets more hull out of the water for less drag. Then trim drives up a little. Gets bow up a little also.

Looks like it's running pretty good! I have a different x than you but didn't like mine IN. It lifted the whole boat and had bow up nice, but was not stabile in cross waves at all. Flopped back and forth like it was high centered. Got maybe 1mph IN, and "mittens" has a 342 and didn't see any gains.

Tuning OUT feels a lot more stabile. It will feel even better if you lab your 26s. You are getting really good slip with the 26s, are they stock? I had 25p m+ which are similar pitch to the 26p b1 and I was getting 68 at 4900. Oh and you will have more reverse thrust for docking when OUT.

Matter of fact.. Yours really sounds too good to be true.. GPS ??
I plugged in 25.5p and 1.5 drives and it said your slip is 3.5%..

yup, that is gps.. it may be closer to between 4800 and 4900.. 496 ho's, props stock.. 2 guys, cooler, 1/4 - 1/3 tank gogo juice.. So i'm assuming since know one has really clarified, I am turning in by my description above..

Correct, forward rotation, props are turning toward center or IN.

Looks like your running good! I wouldn't touch it unless you want to see how turning out feels. Mine felt good all around except when crossing over wakes overtaking another boat or just trailing. Felt wobbly, I don't have hyd steering so he'll, that might have been some of it also.

If you like it, leave It and enjoy!!
