Default passing inspection

For my 02 jeep liberty to pass inspection I was told I need new upper and lower ball joints and new struts. ( this will be my second set if ball joints since iv owned the jeep little over a year ) I have a3 inch fab tech lift so my question is will OEM ball joints and struts fit with the lift kit or will I need bigger/ longer

I would take it to an off road specialty shop and find out if the lift was installed correctly??
Something does not sound right.
