Since I sold my best little LXI this month
guess it's time start on the big one I towed home last year because none of you bums wanted it....
Managed to get it off the trailer this week, and soon realized the only scratches on the bottom were ones I just put on it getting it off the trailer. Busted bunk from setting 12 years didn't help matters, but 1 scrape is all there is under there. She either never got used, or never got beached...
Anyways she is on the ground now and about to be inclosed in a big plastic bag for painting.

Thanks Linn, it''s gonna be interesting for certain.
I just ran the empty trailer across the scales and realized why they use carbon composites today...
10220 lbs Boat and Trailer
3240 lbs Trailer Only
----------------
6980 lbs - Boat -- Dry Hull + Seats Only
Hope I find some lead bars stashed in there somewhere.

Time to pull out the sander and thin out some of those bulk heads, lol.

Plan is to use a pair of mildly built 750hp Duramax diesels. However finding suitable drives with proper gear ratio to work in low RPM range is proving difficult.
ASD#8's is my first choice. If not looking at Bravo XR's again, but on stand-off boxes with switchable overdrive units in front of them. Then would need to torque limit the engines down low as I did on our single Dmax boat. Problem is this boat will tip the scales at 11k or higher when finished.
First thing I gotta do is source a partner or some sponsorship
