Donzi ZF 34 Whats it worth?
Hi, I'm not familiar with Donzi's so I'm coming to the experts. I'm looking at a 1998 Donzi ZF 34' open center console with twin 250 Merc's. The boat has been sitting for 5 years or better on blocks. There is no trailer included in the sale. Supposedly one engine is good and ond bad, no way to verify so I'm assuming both will need powerheads. hull is in great shape. gel coat is great, no bottom paint ever. Door to front storage area is broken. Top, seats and windscreen are good, electronics are outdated but they are there. Owner is accepting sealed bids with a reserve of $7,500.
So, the question is, WHAT'S it WORTH? Considering the expenses of refreshed engines, electronics, and a trailer. Is it worth putting the time and effort into? I'm looking to sell my cat and get something more sensible yet still respectable speed and looks wise. It's a very good looking boat, yellow hull with blue accents, white inside.
One last question, Is the door available from anywhere? That seems like it might be the hardest part to find?

The first thing to do would be to get a hull survey. Then have a mechanic check the motors. Go to Donzi Direct.com for the replacement door. I would say if you were in the boat with a trailer and water ready for 30k that would be an alright deal.
