Props and Parts
09/01/2014
Happy Labor Day to everyone I hope you had the chance to spend the day on the water. We went over to the Harris chains and had lunch at Crazy Gators and I must say it was just a teeny tiny bit less humid felt great. Labor Day kind of marks the end of summer but the best boating weather is still to come. We are excited for the temp to drop about ten degrees and enjoy some sweet floating around in the sun.
Our purpose for this site is to expose family boaters to helpful hints, boating spots and boating equipment so today we’d like to share a great business we use Hall’s Propeller Service in Christmas, Florida. If you have a boat and you’re looking to increase your speed or torque for your boat you have a few options.
If you know how to do your own mechanics on your boat you could seek out props from your boat dealer or there are some great online boat suppliers.
Here’s a list of our favorites:
wholesalemarine.com
iboats.com
ebasicpower.com
My hubby builds all his own motors and does most all of his work on our boat. We have bought parts and props from the above sites. If you’re looking for just the right prop to increase your speed or torque there is always the custom prop and for that we choose Hall’s Propeller Service. We’ve used them several times and find their work to be quality. He would also be a great source to consult with if you want more information about the benefits of having a custom prop. He also sells used marine parts so if you’re in the market for good used parts he’s a good source for that too.
Our boat is a 192 Wellcraft with a custom built motor and prop it’s fast and loud for its look so we always get the question, “What ya got in that boat?” So if you’re looking to tinker with getting a little more speed out of your boat you might want to try a custom prop and see how it works out.
We hope your next adventure in boating is a great one and if you ever need a custom prop,” Who ya gonna call?” Call Hall’s
