I.m guessing that boat was not beached. It sunk when the lake was full, and now it looks like it's beached because the levels have dropped.

so that boat was probably pretty nice before it sank, why would somebody just leave it instead of salvaging it?
If my boat sank I would do everything I could to get it back.

That has been there for a while and some of the motor is now missing as well as the bimini top, people have stripped some of it.
I couldn't agree more, if one of my boats sunk I would be out there until I could recover it.

Insurance? Maybe the owner wanted it to stay on the bottom because [wink-wink] someone stole it.
