I need to order senders for the race boat. It has a mix of plain "Gaffrig" and "Gaffrig Precision Instruments" on the faces. I know there is still a war between Livorsi and Mike Shultz at Gaffrig. Mike was vague. I know that the VDO gauges Merc uses go full when the wire is grounded. I don't want to mess with automtive senders because of the different impedence for a given value range. And Livorsi ain't cheap so I don't want to buy a set of each from these two. Any ideas? Thanks. going racing in NYC on the 8th. Stop and visit.

Dan, I would say they are Livorsi gauges. Schultz's gauges say "Gaffrig Performance" on them.

Yep, just called. Thanks. Brenden, you couldn't hang out on the water and watch anyway, they're locking down the harbor, no spectator boats. The guy buying one of my boats wanted to try it out there and i had to tell him no. Hang out and have a beer with us.

Whats your number and what does the boat look like? Isn't it an apache?
