Default Gladiator Purchase - questions on 3 boats

Hello Cig owners. I'm a two boat owner (2007 310 Sea Ray Sundancer and 1999 Fountain 32 500efi's) I should have my fountain sold next weekend and looking for a new ride. I prefer sit down, much better ride in the chop and reliability. I'm sold on getting a gladiator and have found these 3. The 2005 in NH looks to be the nicest and something tells me it was redone by Lip Ship recently and the 525's are making 600hp which should get it too 100mph? The 02 in TX is sweet for the price but how reliable is the power? I thought that boat just sold in the spring? 700hp = 100mph +?. Finally, the 03 at Performance Boat Center. Very clean but has been for sale for over a year and price hasn't budged?. Appreciated your help and history on these boats.

The first one in your thread has been for sale for a long time, not sure what the story is or why it never sold, seems like a nice boat. The second one, if it's the one I'm think ing of has a hell of a history, Tank should know if it is the one I'm thinking of. There were some threads on here about it a year or so ago. The last one, last time I saw it at Lip Ship was one of the nicest most pristine Glad's I've ever seen. If you're serious, you need to check into it. Phil went through the entire boat.

The one at Performance is CLEAN!!!!!! & the nicest by far hence why the price is greater and it's stagger which is a big difference in a Glad. I'm sure Brett would do something to make a deal. Great guys to deal with. Good luck

The one PBC has is beautiful. I think there is a deal pending on it finally. The owner didn't have to sell, it had a lot of lookers and some offers but none that interested him. Give Glenn or Brett a call.

Like Tim said the second one has some history. But the price reflects it. Jeff Cheng. (Founder of OSO) purchased it new. Ran it mostly in the Pacific Ocean. Tried to put Chevy crate motors in and it never really worked out. Sold it to a guy in Havasu who had it for a while. He went to sell it and the potential buyer rolled it during a test drive.

It sat after that and was eventually stripped and repo'd. Ended up at national liquidators and a guy from Texas bought it and put it back together. Don't know how well of a job he did but it looks nice with nice power.

The last on the list is a bad mo fo. It was completely rebuilt by Lipship a few years ago. Like Tim, I saw it when it was done at Phil's shop and it is flawless. Newest you're going to get to a brand new glad, thus the asking price.

All are sweet but the 2005 Lip-Ship is probably one of the top 3 nicest Gladiators built. It had low hours before the redo (it used to be a rainbow and not so pretty) and holy cow, what a boat now.

Bring that bad boy to Jersey!

If you want 100++ - mine was known as the world's fastest Gladiator - debuted in the 2004 Miami boat show.

There are pics of it in OSO if you search for them - here's some
