Default 46 act. thunder

Im thinking of buying a 46' ,reason being is we are a family of 5 total. I thought it would have more room then a 42'- or 38' fountain or cig. Also looking to hear of any bad years for hulls or drives. Im looking to spend anywhere from 100k- 150k if possible for either next year or the following year.BTW, I live here in CT along the shore. Thanks

I think you mean 46' Black Thunder.

Are you planning to sleep 5 on the boat?

Yes, go with the Black Thunder then; or 43' Nortech.
You could also consider the 47 Fountain, or 38 Fountain Express Cruiser (EC). Donzi made a few 39 ZSCs, but I'm told they are not as sound as the 38 Fountain Express Cruisers. (There are also some older model 38 Fountain Sport Cruisers, (SC).

Saw your other thread; and no way anything in the Cigarette lineup will work for you in that desire/requirement unless you went to the Huntress.

FWIW Brian, I could easily sleep 5 in my 46 Cig. The bed is huge, it sleeps 3 very comfortably and both couches (about 6' long) will sleep an adult on each. That's not to say I would want to do this, but there's plenty of room in the cabin to comfortably sleep 5 adults without much hassle. There's not a lot of storage so you would likely want to store some gear in the forward compartment ahead of the bed, there's about 6' or so up there. The bathroom on my boat is on the swim platform or using a small bucket.

But to your point, a 46 BT would no doubt be a better option.
