in the add you mention that you had the boat re-gelcoated. I'm really a novice with this boat stuff -- what does something like that cost and how long does it typically take?

Thank you. I had a local boat manufacture do it for me as opposed to painting. The deck and hull sides to the chine was around 4-5k if I remember correctly.

But on a side note. how many LEDs did you install on it to light the hull on the trailer? Have you had any harassment from the local officials due to the lighting? Im looking to do the same since three people attempted to turn into the boat when driving down the hwy/

Tomcei - Tell me that I am dreaming and that I did not just read that your Pantera was listed for Sale... I have not seen you since you came down for the Lake Norman Fun Run about 3 years ago - You and I had the only 28 - Panteras present... I was hoping that you were going to be down this past summer for the Lake Norman Fun Run and we would run together again... Just incase you do not remember mine - I have the 2005 Pantera with the American Flag and the Keith Eckert 675 Motor Package. I hope that you and your family are doing well and your Pantera is very Bad Ass...

Wylie- I couldn't forget you buddy!! Your not dreaming......I'm the one dreaming... kinda freaks me out just to see it listed....lol. I just have an itch for another project boat. I just can't get into it unless I let this one go first. I figured I would post it up and see if there is any interest. Believe me man, I've loved on this thing for 10 years. Truly the best boat I've ever owned. Put all my money and some blood and tears in it.

I really wanted to get up there this year but I need a new truck before I make another out of state trip.

I have LED strips on the inside frame rails. I played with the spacing to get it right. I think 4 or 5 strip per side. It looks awesome in person. The pictures don't do it justice at all. I don't run them all the time for fear of catching some crap. Only when you want to show it off..... I have them on a separate switch. kinda of fun to flip them on.

PS: The Hatch:.......I could have bought a car for what I had to pay for that sucker, but it is one of a kind. It is a cut down version of the factory Pantera 41 hatch.
I worked my arse off on making the trim work.

What kind of speeds are you seeing with that package looks bad ass,i had a 28 pantera years ago with 800hp real fast around 90 but the drive couldn't handle it blew 2 in a couple of hrs,good luck with the sale
