Has anyone used Dr Gelcoat in Tonawanda? I have a couple of nasty gouges on the side of the VR 1. One about 8 inches long and one 4 inches. Not too bad but should be repaired.

Also, anyone else in Western N that is good.

I've heard they're a ripoff. Many guys use PPG paint instead.

Thanks, someone else also told me Dr Gel did not have the best reputation.

Why PPG paint and what is the procedure? The boat is bright yellow and I am worried about matching the color.

I know quite a few painters, mostly car guys but I know an excellent painter in Tonowanda. He can match anything and is meticulous.
