Transom replacement

Need to replace transom in my 29 Scarab 1995. Ballpark figure? Is it worth it? Thanks in advance.

Depending on if you are talking about an empty engine compartment about $3K to $4K or more. Lot's of good shops in NJ. On OSO, contact Augie Pensa or Louie the Rigger, both racers and good guys, they can point you in the right direction.
