Default 28' profile cat, pros? Cons?

Hi I'm thinking about buying a 2001 28' profile cat, I don't know a whole lot about profile, just trying to get some input on them good or bad, thanks Brent

They are not the build quality of an eliminator but they are an efficient hull and they also have great lines. You can tow them with a 1/2 ton truck which is nice. They do not have much of a cabin to speak of.

I Hotboat magazine about 2003 they were the fastest 28' hull with 575sci that they had ever tested.

Thanks for the input, the one I was looking at has a blown 622 extension box and imco drive, I did notice the cabin not being much which is a downfall but was just curious how strong the hulls are built and any common problems, thanks Brent

Did the seller fix the motor? It got hurt a couple months ago during a sea trial. ( I know as my cousin was the buyer (didn't buy it obviously) in the boat at the time).

I have a real nice 2001 26' open bow walk through Eliminator Daytona Cat for sale less power if you have any interest. It is set up right now with a 985EFI, 985 HP from a BBC ProCharged 540. IMCO 12" extension with full hydraulic steering. I prefer to sell less power.
