I'm looking to buy a 2007 330ss with an arch. I'll be doing some trailering and plan to buy a quality trailer for this package. My towing is limited to about 100 miles each way and I only do that 3 or four times a year. Will this boat and aluminum trailer be able to be pulled behind my 2002 F350 diesel (SRW)? I have been pulling a 99 353 on a metal eagle trailer with no issues and have hauled a 310ss also with ease. Thoughts? Thanks

I believe the 353 and 330ss without arch are pretty close in approximate weight. Add the arch I think your within reason.

My only concern would be width?

Isnt the Beam 10ft wide? That would be my only concern since you have a 350.

Yes the width and height will be your issue, but u certainly wont have any issues otherwise, just know where your going and do your homework

We tow our 330SS with an F350 diesel SRW and have no problem. We don't have the arch, but I doubt that'd make a difference.

Your beam will be 10'2" so you technically need to do the overwide routine...

Thanks. Very helpful. I suspect that the arch adds a good deal of weight, at least 500 lbs, but that isn't a deal breaker overall. Key would be the overall height with arch relative to the standard tractor trailer height that most roads accommodate for clearances ( 13 feet or so, I think. ). Permits are relatively easy though you have restrictions in Maine/NH on summer weekends. Anyone know what the height with arch would be atop a trailer? Many thanks

That all depends on the trailer. Torsion axles lower vs, leaf springs higher, cradle bunks lower vs. vertical boards higher, bolted trailer higher vs. welded trailer lower etc. etc.; it could vary by a foot or more. I know Phoenix has built a few low slung trailers to launch the 43' Sunsations on some of the less than ideal ramps in Michigan. You may start there.

No problem at all. I pull a 370 SS to Fla and back every spring and fall with a 2500 HD diesel. I have to take the radar off but that's it. If you are under 11 feet wide they won't bother you even though you are over the legal limit. I also pull it at night. No problem. Last week I pulled a Nor~Tech CC down that was 10 feet wide through the night and again no problem. As long as your not a commercial hauler they usually don't mess with you, just don't pull into a weigh station with it.
There is no way you will be over 13.6 tall. I use a Manning trailer.

Now that has to look impressive going down the road!

Is your Manning aluminum or steel and is your 2500 HD DRW or SRW?

It is an aluminum trailer, and the truck is a crew cab 61/2 foot box with single rear wheels. It goes down the road at 70 - 75 no problem.
