Anybody have a 280 SS with 5.0s? What is your top speed? I really want the 6.2s, but I found a good deal. Worth the wait?

I have a 1998 with the 260hp 5.0s, it is a high 40's low 50's boat at sea level. I think with the 300hp motors a couple mile faster. There is (or was) a video on you tube of a guy who put big blocks in one and got into the low 60's. They are stable and handle great but not speed demons.
