Default Grab handles for rear of bolster - where to find them?

I need the stainless grab bars off the back of late 80s bolster seats. Does anyone have them or know where I could find a set?

I never found any and am still looking. They are the ones that go from the back of the seat tithe side of the boat for the one legged seats.

are you talking about the ones in the pic below behind the seat that brace it to the side wall? Its just a piece of flat aluminum bar-stock with the ends bent and then wrapped in vinyl....you can make it....

Mine are not flat they are round no vinyl and attach to the seat back in two places and then go to the side of the boat. I have a pic but can't post it. Late 80's boat

more like this? Your probably gonna have to either call the boat mfg or get them custom made...not sure if they will be universal for something like that...

What is your boat? The bolsters in the late 80s formula were mcleod. They or formula might be able to get them or at least a plan to make them. Trouble with getting them used is they are usually attached to the bolster.

You might see if a local CC/T-top fabricator can make something for you. I doubt you will find anything exactly fitting you application.

I was going to put bolsters from an 89 272 in my 88 242 but the rear rails are missing. I thought maybe I could find someone parting one with destroyed seats eventually that would give up the rails.
