Default OSO Website slow loading times

Anyone else having increasingly slow loading times? Here lately 8-12 secs per page, making browsing very tedious. My work computers are a little faster. Ideas?

I have it, and it did help a little, about 1-2 secs per page change. This is really getting tedious and it DOES NOT make me read the ads. It makes me keep clicking until the page changes.

Whose web browser are you using? (Chrome and Firefox are fast)
Do you dump your temp files and cookies often?
If you do a lot of web crawling, the garbage stacks up and slows your computer.
I use CCleaner, love it.

I'm using an 8 year old PC with XP and IE 8 and have not noticed any page loading delays.

Forget Chrome! Data farming at its best. Firefox is the ticket.

Rather than being worried about load times. You should be more worried about all the well known exploits, with m$ software that old. Not that newer is is a lot better, simply that there are fewer well known exploits.

Linux with links, lynx, for text only browsers will be the fastest, with chrome, Firefox next, while any of the above far more secure than anything m$.

Slow load times with m$, is generally evidence of hostile infiltration.

Though load up is common and reboot can help clear unnecessary background services that accumulate over time.
