My boating plans for going to the Bahamas this weekend were affected by poor weather to our south and east however it’s nice and sunny in our part of SW Florida. I’ve had some calls from FMO’s in the area wondering if we could get together for a lunch run Saturday. That works perfectly for me since I’m here primarily to go boating. I am open to any suggestions as to where we might go but would like to suggest that we go up to Burnt Store and check out the new Cass Cay restaurant. ( formerly Porto Bello ) The patio is nice there, some nice improvements have been made I’m told and the food is supposed to be good. Maybe after lunch we can head back thru Matlacha is always fun as the tide will be up enough. Let me know if you would like to join us Saturday. Probably best to meet at Sanibel Bridge as always for 11 AM departure as most are familiar with that arrangement.

Hi Tom. Yes, up ICW then cut east of Useppa in that channel / shortcut to Charlotte Harbor and across to Burnt Store. I want to keep off the Gulf with the winds even tho NE. After lunch we will likely go back south thru Matlacha. Low tide in the morning so don't want to go north thru Matlacha and will leave that till after lunch. Hope you can join us.
