200k for an additional 13 mph seams a little steep. That being said, that is a great looking boat, love the paint scheme.

I don't know much about outboards, but a quick google search shows list prices under 22k. 4 would be 88k. So the seven marines cost 96k each? Am I missing something? Again, I don't know much about outboards, they seem pretty cool, and I can't imagine the development cost, but that seems steep.

Cost or not...that is cool. A CC doing 80+

But this is OSO.....so it is still slow and needs rod holders.

The 557's use a V8 Cadillac motor as a powerhead, and the 3-year-old magazine article I found with a price put MSRP at $69k/ea. They weigh in right around 1000lbs. And they are, for lack of a more refined term, bad-azz!

69k for one single outboard engine?? Serious?? Lmao I'm no expert, but damn. And I'm also not saying that they aren't cool.

Finally a rich guy with good taste in boat paint jobs! Lot of extra cash for 13 mph. Maybe there is more in it playing with the setup.

call herring...get another 3-4mph. So strong mid to upper 80's in a 42' cc, that's something to brag on for sure! now if they can shave 2 or 300 lbs off those outboards I's want a pair

Outboard or inboard 69k for 557 hp plus a drive. How does that compare to the new merc package?
