Default how to remove gas overflow stain side of boat?

didnt realize but gas must have came out vent when i put boat away last wk i'm sure didnt over flow tank , what should i use to remove it? tried solvents, polishing compound still not coming out 100% on whit area!

You`re looking at a repaint, couple of friends had the same problem .

Yep. I had the same thing happen to me. Try wet sanding and buffing. If no luck, find a good paint shop.

I had some luck with acetone. Be sure to clean and wax after.

its paint with clear coat over it.

sounds like the gas ate into the clear because just ran down it for a long period of time...try water sanding and buffing..just depends on how bad it ate into the clear...never fill the fuel tank in the fall...get hot then expands and is forced out the vents...can't tel you how many stripes we have had to replace from the same deal..
